PTE COACHING

The PTE (Pearson Test of English) is one of the most accepted English proficiency tests. It is the world’s leading computer-based English test undertaken by students and aspirants who desire to go abroad to study or immigrate to a major English-speaking country.

While the Speaking and Writing modules are combined in one session, Listening and Reading are divided into two different sections. Ranging from MCQs to essay writing, reading out sentences to choosing the correct answer, there are twenty types of questions in all four formats.

The difficulty of IELTS compared to PTE is the same. Neither test is easier than the other. They are both demanding and require fundamental skill building as well as knowledge of the test format

The PTE exam is conducted in 3 formats: PTE Academic Exam, PTE General Exam, PTE young learners.

The exam format consists of 20 unique questions which test Speaking & writing skills (77 – 93 minutes), Reading skills (32 – 40 minutes), and Listening skills (45 – 57 minutes) 

Many people consider the PTE English language test to be easier than the IELTS test, however, other people disagree. Both exams test your reading, writing, speaking, and listening ability and are commonly used as part of applications for Australian visas or to study at Australian universities

In general, similar to the IELTS test result, the PTE Academic Score Report is valid up to a period of two years from the examination date and the day on which the results are declared for study purposes and three years for immigration purposes that can potentially lead to permanent residency.

The various sections in the PTE exam, (listening, reading, speaking, and writing) are scored on a scale of 10 – 90 where 10 is the lowest, with increments of 1 point.
